Starbucks
Core Collection
Starbucks Core was designed to be a distilled collection of drinkware and brewware for the Starbucks global marketplace. These perennial pieces were created to exist in an ecosystem of seasonal merchandise campaigns, reflecting the current essence of the brand and creating a secure design language to uplift surrounding third-party product and cafe collateral. Each shape, substrate, finish, color and branding technique is designed to communicate the brand ethos.

Art Direction
Beginning with classic materials associated with the barista trade, the collection’s aesthetic direction was elevated with the finely-crafted details of Japanese pottery, hand-hammered copper service ware, and the allure of mid-century camping equipment.
Camp Classics
These camp mugs were designed from pencil sketch to finished product, and became the highest grossing mug collection in Starbucks history. Taking classic camping equipment in mind, these mugs were designed to keep drinks warm and hands cool while serving up some serious style.

Copper
Moments
These copper pieces pull from materials in the Starbucks roastery. The rubberized black elements evoke the utility of the barista’s trade, while the finesse of the coffee scoop references midcentury Italian service ware.
The Feel of Hand-crafted
These mugs were created to deliver warmth and authenticity. Each detail was communicated explicitly with vendors to appear hand-crafted while also delivering the consistency associated with Starbucks’ iconic brand.
